Nicholas Silvers

Founding Partner


Is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee and head of the New York City office. Mr. Silvers spends the bulk of his time on investment acquisitions, financing, and fundraising. Prior to co-founding Tavros, Mr. Silvers was a Director at Credit Suisse Group AG in New York where he was responsible for the origination of $15 billion of U.S. large loan real estate lending opportunities and the distribution of $5 billion of U.S. high yield real estate debt and equity products—working primarily with investors across Europe and the Middle East.

Additionally, Mr. Silvers led Credit Suisse’s founding of and investments into Hamburg Trust, a leading German closed end fund real estate platform. Mr. Silvers commenced his tenure at Credit Suisse serving as the business strategy associate, reporting directly to the company’s chief executive officer and eventually promoted to Secretary of the firm’s Operating Committee.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Silvers worked in the Fixed Income Divisions at Morgan Stanley and UBS. He is the head of the JCP (www.jcpdowntown.org) real estate committee, serves as the VP of the Career Services Committee on the Alumni Council of the Dalton School, and previously sat on the Young Professionals Board of A Better Chance. Mr. Silvers is a graduate of Duke University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics.
